Jimmi Hart raised in Miami… Jimmi Hart is Miami Jimmi has been in the music business for years, doing everything from producing, writing, and engineering. Jimmi attended school in Miami for sound engineering, where he learned about the ins and outs of the music business from some of Miami’s best known engineers and producers. During his studies, Jimmi founded the legendary Miami based group “Street Light Poets”. And together with Gold and Wasi, S.L.P has become a major powerhouse in Miami.
Jimmi has a library of music, mixtape, and other projects that reflect his accomplishments… Like his controversial mixtape “F**k Rapp”, to drunken’, yet brilliant ratings on “Dirty Martini”. Jimmi has a suave, player like swag, with a dangerous street edge!! This can be heard throughout his music. With his hit single “Shawty Said Wassup” climbing the charts in Miami with lightning speed. It’s a matter of time before it spreads to the rest of the world. It was hit of the week on x102.3 FM, West Palm Beach, with the sexy Butta P for two weeks straight. After being local hit of the week on that same station the previous week… and has also been local hit of the week on 99jamz, in Miami, “Local Love” segment, & stays in regular rotation on stations from Dade County to Tallahassee.. Over to Georgia and Detroit!!
In songs like “Kitty-Kat” and “Keep it clean” you get a taste of Jimmi’s more playful and/or “street” side! And one thing that comes to mind when you here “Ya boi J-Jimmi” is “performer” Jimmi has opened up show for major artist over the years. From artist like Beastie Boys, in the mid-90′s, and Tribe called Quest.. To artist like Nore, 50 Cent, and Young Jeezy!! Jimmi puts together energetic and sometimes, outrageous shows. Hell… It’s his favorite part of the game! He’s recently tore down Florida clubs like, Cameo, SoBe Live, Mirage, Take One, Indra Lounge, Heathrow Lounge.. & the list goes on.
His style and charisma sets his apart from a lot of other artist. Jimmi is eccentric and loves anything that can produce “shock value”.
